Meet Kelsey

 5-6 Year Old Female

Kelsey is a sable 6 year old. And is spayed, housebroken, crate trained, and up to date on all shots. She knows basic commands and loves playing fetch. She currently shares her foster home with a female German Shepherd. She is good with children and loves being around people. She likes to chase small animals and would not do well in a home with cats. Kelsey came to us very sick and severely under weight (58 lbs), And she had hair loss over most of her body, pneumonia, and badly infected ears. It was discovered that she was had a allergy which by not being treated had caused the hair loss and repeated ear infections. We started her on allergy treatments in the spring. In July she had ear surgery to fix the damage from years of ear infections . She is deaf in one ear as a result. Happily she has a full coat, has no more ear problems, and weighed in at a healthy 95 lbs during her last vet visit. Her adopting family will need to continue her allergy treatments.
