Meet Glock Young
Male
Glock
Glock is a
handsome 3 year old male of almost 70 lbs. He was
neglected outside and has been eternally grateful to be
in a loving home. He knows basic commands and will do
anything for a treat. Glock is playful, energetic and
seems to love everyone he comes in contact with. He
would do well with an active household and a fenced
yard. He loves investigating everything in the yard and
going for runs in Valley Forge Park. He is still a young
boy though and does need someone committed to working
with him in the training department. When he's excited
he does like to jump up and lick your face. He needs
some work dropping the ball and will sometimes nip a
tiny bit, so he is probably not a good match for a home
with small children. He will try to ‘help’ with
anything you are doing, such as licking your hands,
rubbing against you, bringing you his ball, getting in
the way, etc. He was quite malnourished when rescued and
will gobble down ANY food available to him. If it is
within reach, he will eat it. He does not like being out
of sight of his master and will display it in
destructive ways if left to wander the house on his own.
He is perfectly fine in the same room as you, but once
he leaves he is probably up to something. He is well
crate trained loves to roll around on his bed with his
favorite racquetball. Glock is currently in a single dog
household and is not very good at meeting other dogs. He
doesn’t seem to know what to do which often leads to
the other dog becoming annoyed. Especially smaller dogs,
he seems to overwhelm them. He is ok playing with the
neighbors Irish Wolfhound, so he may just need more
practice. To receive more information or meet Glock
contact his foster parent at dbryan@gmail.com
or call 570-510-7509. He is located in King of Prussia
Glock is up to date with routine shots.
Glock is already house trained.
Glock has been altered.
